Backyard Mardi Gras Baby
I, snow angel,
Fell from grace,
Slick-tripped
On ice-sheeted
Green moss rock.
The wind froze.

Sunshine beckoned, and we followed. It was a “cool-blue-gold” autumn day, ideal for a turn through Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
