Poems, stories, and reflections by Catherine Hamrick
Easter dawned gray and cool. But that did not diminish peeps of color amid the greening of my winter yard. It is freshness without to carry within.
Little splashes of beauty made me smile!
Happy to see you back. The winter yard has to give way to the summer flowers.
Summer will be here before you know it. Thanks for dropping by.
Beautiful as usual. Hope you are having a nice spring. We dug out from under our recent 18-inch dump. And expect more all the way through June.
Until June?! Wow. That is not typical?
Happy Spring! Ours are under a ton of snow…
Happy spring to you, Susie!
“Peeps of colour” are so tentative and apt 🙂
How are you my friend. I’ve been off the radar–new job. How is the writing?
Very many things getting in the way! I’m down to about two posts a month, and book writing not getting off its feet … yet. Glad you’re back. What’s the new job?
Working in communications. Fun.
And this year’s carpet is being showcased!
I wondered whence you had seemed to vanish! It’s fascinating to me that this lovely paean to spring is sung to the tune of Noël Nouvelet, which I have always attached to christmas time…. but they did often put their new poems to old melodies, didn’t they….happy spring!
Happy spring into summer!
